My mom is acting crazy?? and Im in my late 20's?

So I live at home and am planning to move to NY. However, my mom doesn't want me to live in ny because we have relatives that live there and she doesn't want my estranged relatives knowing that I live around there (and NY is HUGE). She wants me to move anywhere else but NY so now she is praying furiously and sobbing and acting depressed because I put my foot down and told her I am going to NY. what gives?
