Bone in or boneless rib roast?

I'm trying to do a rib roast, which way is better? is there even a difference? i know meat purist will say bone in gives more flavor and such, but honestly, come on. And where should i go? sam's club, costco, or restaurant depot? Our local butcher shop sells ribeye 11.99 a pound, which is absurd considering it's just choice.
