Question about shea er and soap?

Okay so if you want your soap to be extra moistruizing can you add shea er? (in the melt and pour process, not cold process) Because I think that would be really nice but can you actually just add shea er to a base or what? Because I don't really want to start ordering shea er base because it's more expensive than clear and white. So if I decided if in a bar I randomly wanted to put shea er in it could i? And when would I add that? And how much? And where can you get pure shea er?? Thanks!
