Only 1 in 10? And they are all here on Y/A?

It does start in the home with lack of enthusiasm and discipline toward going to school and getting an education. Parents who are uneducated themselves cannot help their kids with homework, but you'd think they would try to motivate them to do better. Teen pregnancy and single-parent homes and poverty are a big part of the problem, as is non-English speaking families. But, you are so right....this lack of basic intelligence is so evident on Y/A, and especially in this forum!
