Having a gas stove delivered. Delivery people will not fully install the stove. Do we need a gas fitter?

This is in Ontario Canada -- Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge area. The stove will be where the old owners had their gas stove. Do we need to get someone certified to connect the stove or can we do it ourselves?
